Healthio Dental Clinic – Terms & Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”), together with the Medical History Form completed by the patient (hereinafter “Patient”) and the Consent for the Processing of Personal Data, govern the legal relationship and treatment agreement between:

Healthio Dental Clinic (hereinafter “Healthio”) and the Patient.

These GTC apply in their current version at the time of treatment and regulate all dental services provided by Healthio, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Data Protection

Healthio Dental Clinic is committed to protecting patient privacy and handling personal data in compliance with international data protection standards.

By signing the consent forms and using our services, the Patient agrees to:

The collection and processing of personal and medical data
The use of data for treatment planning, communication, and follow-up care
Healthio’s privacy policy, available upon request or via official channels

3. Appointment & Cancellation Policy

All scheduled appointments are reserved exclusively for the Patient.

Patients must notify the clinic at least 24 hours in advance for cancellations or rescheduling
Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a service fee
Healthio reserves the right to adjust scheduling availability for repeated no-shows

4. Payment Terms

Treatment plans and associated costs are explained clearly before treatment begins
Full payment is expected within 30 days of invoice date, unless otherwise agreed
In case of delayed payments, reminder fees and applicable interest charges may apply
Healthio may offer installment payment options through third-party providers upon request
For new patients or specific cases, prepayment may be required

5. Treatment & Liability

All treatments provided by Healthio Dental Clinic follow internationally accepted dental standards and best practices.

Important considerations:

Medical treatments cannot guarantee absolute results, as outcomes vary per individual
All procedures involve potential risks, which are explained prior to treatment
Patients are responsible for informing the clinic of any dissatisfaction promptly

Healthio is liable for damages caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
However:

Liability for minor negligence is excluded within legal limits
Healthio is not responsible for complications arising from external or third-party treatments

6. Set-Off Policy

Patients may not offset claims against Healthio unless such claims are legally confirmed or agreed upon in writing.

7. Jurisdiction & Applicable Law

Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be governed by:

Applicable laws of the country where Healthio Dental Clinic operates
The competent courts of jurisdiction as defined by local regulations

8. Final Provisions

Healthio reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time
The latest version will always be available through official communication channels
If any provision becomes invalid, the remaining terms remain fully enforceable
